Gala Week
Seven days of free fun for the children of Kinghorn every June, run by volunteers and open to the whole community.
A week in the life of the Gala
The programme changes a little every year, with new events alongside the old favourites. Each year has a theme chosen by the children of Kinghorn: recent years have included Carnival, the Wild West and the Circus. Programmes with exact times are delivered around the village and posted on our Facebook page before Gala Week.

Free for every child
Gala Week events are free and open to the whole community. Our charitable purposes are to help children develop recreational skills through sport and to further their education through cultural, social and educational activities.
How Gala Week is paid for
The Gala relies on the generosity of Kinghorn: the annual door-to-door brown envelope collection before Gala Week, race nights, pub competitions, local businesses, donations and now our weekly lottery. Missed the envelope collection? Envelopes can be handed in at the Community Centre or the Faith, Hope and Charity Shop, or you can donate online.
